“AD INTERIEURS 2019” EXHIBITION

A Collector’s Living Room by the Cabinet Pierre-Yves Rochon

Like a collector, Pierre-Yves Rochon likes to combine the know-hows of craftsmen.

For this project, he asked the Ateliers Philippe Coudray to create two majestic decorative curtains in Dedar hand-woven silk.

These unlined curtains allow more light into rooms and highlight the irregularity of the weave, a dis-tinctive feature of this material.

The effect is magnified on the one hand by the addition on the front of an unlikely creation of articulat-ed feathers by Janaïna Milheiro,, and on the other hand by unique tiebacks made of cavalry twill and plexi discs from Passementerie de l’Ile de France.

“Le Salon de Compagnie” by ELLIOTT BARNES INTERIORS

For this session, the interior designer Elliott Barnes proposed a contemporary interpreta-tion of trims.

He asked the Ateliers Philippe Coudray to work – in a pleated style – the Pastorius leather of the City range from Studioart, and then to upholster panels.

Emphasized by LEDs, these large pleats structure, sculpt and wrap the wall space behind the lazy bed. And the wall becomes a artwork.

Elliott Barnes “What I found interesting was to take a technique used in “pleated” mode and transpose it into interior architecture”.

SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE MILANO

“LES INSEPARABLES”

“Les Inséparables” are two unique fireside chairs designed in partnership with Virginie Ferret-Courtel and Anne Gelbard.
As pieces of traditional upholstery, they incorporate materials such as feathers, Swarovski rhine-stones, Capelain gold leaves, aluminum leaves.

Bergdorf Goodman is one of the most chic luxury shops on 5th Avenue.

The pieces of the Renoma Collection edited by the Ateliers Philippe Coudray had the privilege to deco-rate the wonderful windows of this prestigious place in a very creative scenography.
